Summary
Appropriation Act No. 4, 2022-23 is a law that allows the government to spend money. It sets aside $20,796,964,176 for the federal government to use for various expenses during the year ending March 31, 2023. This money is for things that have not already been paid for through other laws.
The Act says that the money can only be used for the reasons listed in the Act. It also says that some of the money can be used to make changes to the government's accounts, even after the end of the year. These changes are only allowed if they don't require extra payments from the government.
